DYKON Computer Help Center, Inc.
was founded in New Orleans, LA in 1997 by Eben and Stephanie
Dike who decided to leverage their professional backgrounds in
the areas of Information Technology, Sales, and Management to
form an innovative service organization dedicated to providing
unparalleled customer service.
DYKON grew and prospered to
become a respected member of the New Orleans business community
serving a diverse client base that includes the federal
government, state and local government, educational
institutions, and small to medium sized business.
The company
has earned numerous awards and recognitions including being
named Small Disadvantaged Business Contractor of the Year in
2008 by the US Department of Agriculture Office of Procurement
and Property Management, Technology Company of the Year by the New Orleans East
Business Association in 2005 and being ranked among the Top
Small Businesses in Louisiana for 3 consecutive years by DiversityBusiness.com. DYKON was also recognized by such
national publications as Federal Computer Week and ZDNet
Government for the vital role we played in the disaster recovery
efforts of our federal clients after Hurricane Katrina.
In August of 2005, just months
after completing the construction of our new office building,
DYKON was impacted by Hurricane Katrina. The company established
a disaster recovery site in Houston, TX. Although, the move to
Houston was meant to be temporary, the company principles saw
this as an opportunity to expand the company’s operations.
DYKON permanently established the Houston branch office while
simultaneously rebuilding and reestablishing the New Orleans
headquarters becoming one of the first office buildings to
reopen in New Orleans East despite several challenging
situations.
Today DYKON’s operations are
thriving in the New Orleans and Houston offices. DYKON
continues to be a vital member of each community by providing
good jobs to our employees, supporting community/civic
organizations, and of course providing unparalleled customer
service to our clients.
