Aggressive IT Sales & Marketing
Executive needed to
represent the company and develop new accounts in the metro
area. The qualified candidate will be responsible for
qualifying leads, submitting proposals, conducting contract
negotiations, and managing accounts. Local travel is required
to client sites, meetings, trades shows, and
marketing/networking activities. Attendance will be required at
some after-hours functions.
- Must have at least 2 years of hands
on experience in consultative or solution-based IT Sales.
- Must stay abreast of new
technologies through training opportunities and self-learning.
- Must have hands on experience with
the complete IT Sales life cycle.
- Must meet targets and aggressive monthly numbers.
- Must have deep experience in using various bid boards.
- Must have excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Must work independently and deliver results with minimal
supervision.
- Must communicate with engineers to
ensure work is delivered as specified in the sale.
- Must be structured in the approach to work, process oriented
and tuned to daily reporting.
- Must possess a sense of urgency, instinct to close business
and strong negotiation skills.
- Must have excellent skills with MS Office applications like
Excel, Word and Outlook.

Responsibilities / Activities
-Develop a territory plan to
prospect, build a quality pipeline, and close deals.
-Manage a pipeline to fruition and
achieve a quota as determined by Management.
-Quickly learn the value proposition
and be adept at presenting it over the telephone, through web
sessions, or in–person.
-In the prospecting process, be able
to navigate through an organization’s multiple layers and
departments to identify the key roles and build relationships
with each.
-Complete sales and pipeline reports
as required.
Performance Measurements
-Sales performance against quota.
-Development of Pipeline of qualified
prospects.
Compensation
-Base salary + commission.
